This is a program that runs as a Windows service and can batch add watermarks to PDF documents.
A-PDF Watermark Services is a windows services program that runs in the background and adds a watermark to PDF documents automatically. You will be able to run a batch of documents and get them watermarked with one of several types of watermarks or a combination of them. The type of content you could use to create a watermark include text, image, graphic watermarks to existing Acrobat PDF files in sequence. In a hot folder configuration, the A-PDF Watermark Services can watch multiple folders. It will monitor several such hot folders every few seconds and convert the documents added to these folders. There is a desktop version of the program also available. The documents also can be stamped with date, time, page number, author and file name, etc.
The functionalities include ability to add dynamic watermarks. The watermarks are changed based on macros that create a new watermark as parameters change. The images that can be supported include JPEG, GIF, TIF, TIFF, PCX, PNG, TGA, ICO, BMP, JP2, etc. Watermark positions can be defined, rotations specified, and a transparency defined. You can define the watermarks to be on top of the page or as a background, stamp only selective pages and so on. Whenever there is a need for watermarking a large amount of documents, this could prove to be a flexible and easy to use tool.
